HostingZoom / ResellerZoom Problems: 403 Forbidden

November 6th, 2007 by Adam Maywald, Editor · No Comments

403-forbidden.jpgI have a far amount of sites hosted at HostingZoom and ResellerZoom.  I haven’t had too much of a problem there and they’re cheap, which I love.  The support is great and I always get a response when I’m sending in support tickets.  But I do have a problem that no one over at HZ or RZ seems to understand and can help, so I thought I’d present it to you.

It actually happens on this very site.  When I try and access it from my Work computer, I get a “403 Forbidden” page and the pages says:

Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.webatme.com Port 80

I have no clue why “webatme.com” is showing up and neither does tech support. Have you run into this problem?  If all else fails, I’m going to switch to a more reliable hosting carrier, since I’m not sure if its just me not seeing my OWN sites or if it’s everyone.
